NOWG 2.0
Right now, there are many changes occuring in not only the neighborhood outreach group and occupy nola, but also throughout the occupy movement as a whole.
However, NOWG’s main purpose has not changed. This is to conduct outreach in neighborhoods and regions across New Orleans and the world.
A petition is being researched and created. This will act as an activism-based conduit for anyone to get involved and make a difference, at any level.
We will need canvassers, with myself conducting most of the research at this time. I will be contacting Bill Quigley at the Loyola Law clinic to request legal-ease and specific legal assistance in creating a Nullification Bill here in Louisiana. Miles Swanson has also expressed his interest. I could also use additional assistance in this endeavor, from research, to contacting local organizations and more.
