Occupy the Stage is a branch of Occupy NOLA that is dedicated to artists and artisans. We are committed to the belief that the arts and skilled trades are sacred. They belong to the people and are immune to censorship, gentrification, taxation or corporate consolidation. These are the basic neccessities for civilization and are considered incorruptable.
Planned Events/ Schedule/ Meeting Information
Next show at OTS will be on April 14th! The Relief Efforts, Gallyknappers and Nasimiyu and the Many Moons will be playing. Doors @ 9, Show @ 10. Requested $5 donation at the door. There will be drinks, or you may byo. Pass on through like a breeze at the beach, and rise tidal on a wave of revolution!
